Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase from Hearth and Larder. If you’re not completely happy, we’re here to help.

Returns

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • In its original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Perishable food items (e.g. spices, salts, food-grade ingredients)
  • Sale items
  • Items damaged due to misuse

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original payment method within 7 working days.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange for the same item, contact us at info@hearthandlarder.co.za with your order number and details.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, unless the return is due to our error (e.g. you received a damaged or incorrect item).

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
